Anne, Thank you so much for your kind email. God has really given us some amazing children. They love Cookie. I believe she will really bless their lives. Thank you for the great work your organization does for these beautiful dogs. Cookie hasn't batted an eyelash. She exudes calm and loves being with any one of us already. We bought her a beautiful new open cage with a comfy fuzzy pad. She walked right in, but didn't care to sleep there. So, we let her sleep on her familiar big bed on the floor and she did fine. I'll send you updates and pictures later. Thanks again for all you do for these dogs. Kate

Abigail

I wanted to send a quick note to let you know that Abby is fitting in so well with our family. Holly seems to love her new little sister. On the way home, she would lay her head on Abby’s back to sleep. Since we have been home, they play every evening and Lacey puts on her motherly charm to make sure Abby is okay. Abby has made our home her home. We have found she is quite the counter surfer; but aren’t all bassets. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to adopt Abigail. She has been such a blessing. Lucy

Lucy is definitely my girl. She curls up in my lap every night. She's such a love bug. I knew from the moment I met her that I had to have her in my life. Thank you BRAT for saving her life and for bringing her into mine.

Cagney & Lacey

The bonded pair are a hoot. Every night they do what we call "The Show." They chase each other around and then mouth wrestle. They do this with such gusto and lots of noise. It never ceases to make us laugh. They were potty trained pretty quickly. They are such special girls. We can't imagine our life without them.
