Stevie Well you have provided people with such comfort...Charlee has brought us such joy because of BRAT...Thank You for all the work you have done. We would not have Charlee today if you would not have stepped up and helped these wonderful dogs that are FULL of personality...thanks for all you have done for us adopters... The Deen & Harper Family
Sweetie Hello Anne: We decided to rename her Sadie, which was apparently her previous name, and suits her well. She is a great dog (and super goofy!), and we are really happy to have her be part of our family. She is definitely still a puppy and LOVES to play, which is very good for our older basset, who will be 13 this year. I have also attached a picture of Sadie with our other basset, Daisy. Elissa
Sylvie I am pleased to say that Sylvie has come to my home to see if she likes the house and my other two dog babes, Oscar and Louie. Sylvie came yesterday with Stephanie and her husband who had been fostering her. She spent a day with the family here yesterday and was loved on by all. This morning she came with me to collect the dogs from the boarding kennel and I brought them all home together. Delightfully, they've all taken to one another excellently and have been sleeping on the couch cuddled up and playing together very well. All happy and eating, no problems. I needn't have worried about how Sylvie would take to the boys! She plays a good game with Louie, chasing Oscar under my bed one side and woofing at him until he scuttles out and they all chase each other about, tails wagging happily and ears jiggling wonderfully! I couldn't possibly let Sylvie go, and want to keep her..... I did tell Stephanie that I'd know quite soon if she is happy here. I really do think she is, and I know we love her. Loving Bassets is so easy but I'm pleased she's happy here herself...... Sleeping and eating, squirrel excitement and barking with the other dogs at the pool guy too.....! All good fun. She's got her Favourite seat on her bed on the couch and slept in her crate, being lifted up happily for a 10 minute cuddle this morning. Thank you for connecting me with this sweetheart! You do a wonderful job and all the hounds, and owners, are grateful to you. The Grunstein Family
Sullivan Ollie Bob, Chloe and I want to thank BRAT soooooooo much for giving us our boy, Ollie (Sully) for he is an amazing dog! Bless his heart, who knows what he experienced in his young life! He is slowly recognizing we are not leaving him for good. He is settling in with our routine and is playing more! Chloe even licked him the other day! He is Basset thru and thru and loves to be in the middle of the mix! He is making friends and has a playmate now in Rosie, the English Bulldog down the street who is closer to his age and loves to tumble and run! Our family would not be complete without Chloe (Delilah) and Ollie (Sully) and we have BRAT TO THANK!!!! Bob, Erika, Chloe and Ollie
Steve Just thought you would like to know that Duke is doing great! After about two months together and some training classes, we have gotten used to each other and can't imagine life without him! Duke and his humans are very happy about this. In fact, we've trained him to use potty bells quite successfully too! I'm attaching a few photos for your enjoyment. =) Christina Ryan Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
