Hoss should be wearing a T-shirt that reads, "I survived a tornado." He was found wandering the streets after the Rowlett/Garland tornado. He had a microchip. However, it was registered to someone who said they had given him up a long time ago. He was advertised widely on social media, but he was never reclaimed. His physical condition shows severe neglect. His ears and teeth are in bad condition. He has serious skin issues such as possible mange. BRAT will address all these issues and will be searching for the best home for him. He's at our vet now and we'll learn more about his issues. We could use donations for his care. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application.
Update: Poor Hoss. He was in terrible shape. Thankfully he is now a BRAT and is on his way to healing. He had 15 tumors removed. All were gratefully benign. One tumor was on the tip of his tail. It was so deep it went to the bone. So, they had to remove the tip of his tail. He has 3/4 of a tail left. His teeth were in terrible condition. The dental was an intense procedure. Amazingly he didn't lose any teeth. He has every worm known to man. He's on 7 medications. Again, amazingly he was heartworm negative. He is now on his way to his loving foster home where they will love him back to health.
BRAT could use your help in paying for his hefty vet bill. You can use the link below to donate by PayPal or you can send a check to BRAT PO Box 116225 Carrollton, TX 75011. Thank you in advance!!!
