Where does the story begin with Bentley? Well, it begins with being dumped at a Truck Stop in New Mexico. Bentley was seen wandering by a trucker, who happened to be from Lubbock Texas, who decided Bentley needed to take a ride with him back to Lubbock. I have been fostering Bentley for almost 3 weeks now.  I was worried about fostering a strange dog.  Well, Bentley could not be more sweet and lovable.  Even my dog gets along with him.  He loves curling up beside me to get some attention.  He is very gentle and I think I have only heard him bark in the house twice.  I am trying to teach him commands.  I am not sure if anyone has taught him anything before. Bentley is like a little sponge trying to learn.  He watches and copies my dogs actions. He is smart and learns most things quickly.  He is crate trained.  However, when he first arrived, he did mark a couple of spots inside. With his gentle disposition, he will make someone or family such a good part of their family.  It has been such a privilege to take care of him.
