Happy-Go-Lucky:

Hey there! I'm awesome because I'm outta of jail and in a wonderful foster home. If BRAT hadn't gotten me, I wouldn't have made it. It was a small shelter and they were full. So, thank you BRAT for saving my life. I was starting to sweat!!! My foster home has a yard. When I'm finished with exploring the outside, I come in and take a nap on the comfy couch. They have dog beds for me, but who wants that when there's comfy furniture to lay my weary head on?  I get along well with other dogs and kids. I do walk with a limp on my front right leg. Now, all that needs to be done is to find me that special home. Is that you???

UPDATE: Beans saw a surgeon for the front right leg. He thinks the injury is about 4-6 months old. It's a possibility that he got hit by a car, but we don't know for sure. It's not healing properly. The femur is fractured the entire length and the elbow is disconnected. It's building up a lot of arthritis in there and is causing him pain since he keeps moving it.  Surgery can help him but he must complete heartworm treatment first. The leg  surgery will be around $3,900-4,700. If you can help us with this expense, please click on the Sponsor This Pet link above and give what you can. We appreciate every penny.

UPDATE: Beans has just finished heartworm treatment and will be going to a specialist for a 2nd opinion for correcting his broken leg. BRAT wants the best possible outcome for this sweet boy.
