Meet Dixie, a true southern belle!! Dixie is a gentle basset girl that ended up on the euthanasia list in one of the many rural animal shelters in Texas. Without much foot traffic in these shelters, most of the very adoptable dogs don't stand a chance for adoption. We at BRAT do our best to make sure great lovable basset hounds, like Dixie, get that chance to find a new family. Dixie is a young, beautiful tri-color hound who wants belly rubs from everybody she meets!! She rides well in the car, is crate trained, and is doing well on house training. She's definitely a Velcro dog. She loves being with her people. Dixie will cuddle with you as you chill out in the evening.
