Emma needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Precious Emma came to BRAT when she was only six-months-old. She was born paralyzed. She was kept outside and their yard was mainly gravel and cement. She dragged her back legs and had sores beyond what words can describe. Thankfully, they gave her to BRAT.
She was seen by BRAT's vet and was given pain medication, antibiotics, and three flea baths. The groomer said she was covered in fleas and soaked in urine. We promised her that we'll do whatever we can to make her life a good one from here on out. She was taken to a neurologist and surgeon to see if any kind of surgery could be done to help her walk. Sadly, no intervention would help her. Her hip sockets had never developed. So, she became a candidate for custom wheels. Emma was custom fitted for a set of Eddie’s Wheels. After training, Emma took off and started running with her foster brothers. Oh, such happiness! Now Emma is mobile and living a great life in her foster home. Recently, Emma turned one year old. Her birthday wish is to find a forever home. Do you have a place in your heart and home for a wheelie girl? More about EmmaGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Videos of Emma:
